Comprehensive evaluation
Your first visit explores your symptoms, treatment history, health, and goals. Together, we develop a working understanding of your concerns and discuss treatment options.
Psychiatric care with Rajvee Vora, MD, MS, drawing on over two decades of experience in New York. A solo telehealth practice for adults, with a special focus on young adults, combining medication expertise with an understanding of the person behind the symptoms.

Effective treatment begins with understanding what brings you here and what you want to change.
At Oysterbay Psychiatry, every appointment is with me. We take time to understand your history, discuss your concerns, and set goals together.
My approach brings together medication management and psychodynamic therapy. We consider both symptom relief and the emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences that may influence how you feel.
Evaluation, medication management, and consultation guided by your needs and goals.

Experience with complex pharmacotherapy helps guide care when symptoms persist or several medications are involved. We aim for the lowest effective doses and the simplest clinically appropriate regimen, reviewing benefits and side effects at follow-up.
When a diagnosis is uncertain or treatment has not helped as expected, a consultation can review prior care, clarify options, and identify possible next steps.
College, work, relationships, and growing independence can bring new pressures. Dr. Vora helps young adults address mental health concerns while navigating these transitions and building confidence in their decisions.
Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences and recurring patterns may affect current feelings and relationships. Dr. Vora’s specialized training supports work toward greater self-understanding and change, alongside medication when indicated.
